Case Study

Feasibility for a new Stadium, Harbourside, Port Talbot

Client: Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council

Services Provided: Project Management, Architecture, Structural & Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Project: James & Nicholas LLP were asked to undertake a feasibility study to provide a new 3,000-seat stadium for Port Talbot Town AFC.
The proposal is to include Neath Port Talbot Council and Neath Port Talbot College as Stakeholders. The College intend to build a new campus on the adjacent site.

Firm costs were required at an early stage so the PTT AFC could make sure their detailed business plan would prove viable.
Support was sought from The Football Association of Wales, with financial support to be forthcoming if a 3G pitch was installed for community use.
