The practice designed the East, West and South stands at the former National Stadium (Cardiff Arms Park).

We have extensive experience in the design of leisure facilities, including leisure pools, sports halls, all-weather pitches and more recently a skateboard park.

General Description and Project Characteristics

The client required a high-specification sports hall, including changing rooms and a fitness suite. The building comprises a steel framed element (the sports hall), and a load bearing single storey element (the changing area). The project was design-managed in works packages, and administered on site by James and Nicholas’ full-time Site Manager.
