Public Services

We have worked on many housing projects including, recently, a scheme for 200 houses with a market value of £35 million.

Other recent projects include a Catholic Church in Bridgend (£1.2 million) and a centre for the Territorial Army in Cwmbran (£1.5 million).

In addition, we have been employed by South Wales Police on a wide variety of projects over the past 25 years. One of our recent assignments was a feasibility study examining options for the complete reorganisation of their Bridgend headquarters.

Feasibility Study for Visitor Centre
Waterton
Bridgend

Client: South Wales Police

Services Provided: Architectural.

Contract Value: £1 million

Size : 850m²

General Description

The feasiblity study considered options for the relocation of the Police Museum from the basement of the Cowbridge Road site.

Construction Characteristics

We proposed a landmark building, with an entrance tower and glass wall, to sit at the entrance to the Waterton development. The design allows for the museum exhibits to be housed within the triple height space behind the glass wall, and includes a press and lecture area located behind the central square of the building.
